My tour of home cities continued in NY. A bullet point list tells the story best.
·Alexander McQueen exhibit at the Met – Fashion has officially become artistic expression to me.
· Gugenheim Museum – The Frank Lloyd Wright designed space was more of a highlight than the actual exhibits
· MOMA – Never. Enough. Time. Ever. Nice to see some more pieces by the recently deceased Cy Twombly.
· PS1 Warm Up – One of the coolest events to do in a NY. A post devoted to it will follow.
· Multi-State Professional Ethics Exam (MPRE) – Oh yeah I forgot. I had to take this exam while in NY.
· MPRE 4 hour study course – Oh ya I had to study for the exam too.
· Fette Sau BBQ – This is hands-down the best barbecue in New York City. Actually it is in Brooklyn. Unfortunately, Brooklyn is not in Manhattan. But Brooklyn actually has things worth visiting. This includes the best barbecue in New York. Namely, Fette Sau.
High-Line NYC – The NYC parks and recreation department has transformed an elevated abandoned rail line into a great walk through park. One walks among the tall buildings and apartments and gets an aerial view of the madness below. Cafes serve wine and marinated olives.
