Quadrilatero della Moda

It is stating the obvious to write that Milan is fashionable.  But thats exactly what it is.  Maybe the reputation has influenced me, but it does seem the shopping is sexier here.  The Quadrilatero della Moda is New York's 5th Avenue but set in a more tranquil environment.  It is basically four blocks of top designer boutiques.  The window displays are themselves a work of art, maybe more like fruit tempting to the taste.  The big names (Versace, Armani, Ferragamo, Gucci) all seem bigger in Italy.  Reality is, prices are too high to be an active athlete in this universal sport.  For now, I ride the bench but will be back to play some other time soon. I despise the people who come to American malls and take pictures inside, therefore I limited the amount of pictures based on principle.
